Cable Tool Drilling & Development
There are not many companies in the Southwestern US that perform cable tool drilling any more. We are one of the few. As with all tools, they are not well suited to all tasks but are the best choice for certain tasks. Cable tool drilling is a drilling method that uses gravity and mechanical methods to drill a well. There is no circulation fluid (air nor mud).
As one of the oldest drilling methods, The cable tool method is well suited to geologic formations that often pose problems to and complicate other drilling methods.
In addition to being a great way to drill wells, it is also used frequently to develop wells. The swiftness of the lines make it better than several other types of development.
